7.10.25 Devotional: Don’t Suppress The Truth

Scripture Focus: “For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.”

Romans 2:13

It is not my job or duty to judge others for how they are living especially if I, however, had the same struggle but, it is my job/duty to not suppress the truth especially since God so graciously opened my eyes to it.

I was once blind, claiming to be wise but still doing evil, and since I did not see the benefit in fully surrendering my life to Christ and I thought I could be the god of my own life, God gave me exactly what I wanted.

He gave me over to a depraved mind that was veiled from the truth. I exchanged the truth for a lie and I was deceived by the ways of the world. Evil looked good, fun, enjoyable and beneficial while doing good looked like jail, restrictions, living life as a pushover and not beneficial at all. I just wanted to make it through life in a such a time as this.

But that’s just it. Such a time as this. After experiencing the deception of the enemy and seeing that the life I was living was actually the counterfeit and gave no benefit, but simply left me empty, continuously unfulfilled, constantly always wanting more.
