Scripture Focus: “Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.”
Ephesians 5:11

Kingdom Living is more than just doing and we shouldn’t be carried away by religious smooth talk that puts us in a convincing process of busy work and empty pursuits. To live a Kingdom lifestyle is to Abide in Christ the True Grapevine.
We should want to love God and his people more than we want to do for God and his people. And we learn to love by learning who God is. God is love and his actions show it.
By spending time in the word, prayer and godly community we learn more about Who God is. We are all familiar of the saying, “You are what you eat,” and the same goes for “What you read” “Who you spend your time with” and ultimately “What you consume mentally, physically, spiritually & emotionally if you let it. Spending time in The Word of God and true godly community allows us to become what we consume also if we let it.
The world will try to persuade us with counterfeit lifestyles that appear to bring joy and fruitfulness on the outside but once we fall into the trap of those ways of living they only prove to bear bad fruit: greed, gluttony, pride, lust and so much more. We shouldn’t just want to be productive, constantly doing and constantly trying to be. Chasing after everything except The Kingdom of God & Christ himself.
