7.9.25 Devotional: Letting Go is Not Losing

Abba, please help me to release what no longer serves me and help me to trust that you are making space for something new and better. I’m trusting that letting go is a step towards your best for me and your word says in Jeramiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’.” While this letting go feels like loss, I know it’s for divine alignment.

Less of me and more of you. Just like a seed must die to grow into something greater, I must let go of the things that no longer serve me and know that you are God. So I put it down, all of it. And I fully surrender to you and step into the abundant life you have for me. I know you are positioning me for something greater and I say thank you and I will praise you before, during and after receiving. In Jesus name, Amen.
